Due to my complete and utter lack of anything resembling time-management skills, I was not able to get anything recorded for this week’s episode before I left for the airport this evening.  I have a little time here in New Orleans tomorrow before Sarah and I head out for our road trip to Navarre, FL, so I’m going to try to put an episode together and get it up tomorrow afternoon before we leave.  At the very least, I’ll have some podcast recommendation promos, a few TV news tidbits and this week’s playlist to tide you over until Sarah and I get some “from the road” recordings.

Unfortunately, I missed last night’s premiere of the new mini-season of MTV’s The Hills.  However, Entertainment Weekly has a great recap of the show here.  You can also check out the full episode over at MTV.com, along with any of the other episodes you might have missed.  In case you get confused (like I did), MTV is considering this mini-season a continuation of Season 3, so last night’s episode “Paris Changes Everything,” is labeled as episode 19 of Season 3.

Check out Entertainment Weekly’s look at Jericho and 30 Other TV Shows You Loved and Lost.  They mention Angel and Drive, but not Firefly?  What’s up with that??  I think I would add the original (BBC) version of Coupling to the list (4 short seasons was definitely not enough!!), but those are the only 2 shows I can think of that weren’t on the list.  Check it out and let me know if there are any YOU would add …

Sorry guys, I’ve been fighting a sinus migraine all night and it’s winning so I’m going to have to go to bed before finishing up this week’s podcast episode.  I’m going to try to finish it up tomorrow night and will hopefully be able to post it Friday or Saturday.

Check out Entertainment Weekly’s 20 Spring Movies We Can’t Wait To See!  I don’t know that all 20 of these are Must-See for me, but my list of Can’t Wait Spring Movies includes:

The Grand (opens Mar. 21st) - This movie looks very cute, so I’m willing to give it a shot.

Shutter (opens Mar. 21st) - Not so keen on the American remakes of Japanese cult hits (i.e., The Grudge and Pulse), but I *heart* Joshua Jackson and will follow my Pacey anywhere - even to a bad Japanese horror remake.

21 (opens Mar. 28th) - Kevin Spacey, Laurence Fishburne, Kate Bosworth, Las Vegas - no matter how good or bad the plot is, at least it will be visually stunning!

Possession (opens Mar. 28th) - Sarah Michelle Gellar.  Need I say more?

Leatherheads (opens Apr. 4th) - George Clooney has been making some gosh-darn good movies lately, and this one looks like another hit!

The Ruins (opens Apr. 4th) - “Four American friends on vacation in Cancun, Mexico, meet a German tourist that persuades them to join his hunt for his younger brother, who was last seen with his girlfriend near some mysterious ruins.”  Sounds like Turistas meets The Descent - I can’t wait!!!

My Blueberry Nights (opens Apr. 4th) - I’m anxious to see if Norah Jones can act as well as she sings.

Smart People (opens Apr. 11th) - Ellen Page, Dennis Quaid, Sarah Jessica Parker … and the trailer always makes me smile.

Forgetting Sarah Marshall (opens Apr. 18th) - Jason Segal, Kristen Bell, Mila Kunis, produced by Judd Apatow … excuse me, I think the excitement just caused me to hyper-ventilate there for a moment …

Harold and Kumar Escape From Guantanamo Bay (opens Apr. 25th) - I can’t frakkin’ wait!!!!

OK, your turn.  What are the movies that open before May 3rd (’cause that’s when the “summer” movies start) that you can’t wait to see?

Yes, I know … there is a problem with the feeds for the Intro Episode and Episode #1.  I think they got deleted when I upgraded to the FTP server, so I have to find the discs I burned the recordings onto and try to upload them again, this time onto the FTP server.  I will update with a new post when they are available again.  However, please be sure to check out my latest episodes - you certainly don’t have to listen to them in any type of order.
